Dana Wichman grew up in the Texas Hill Country and graduated Texas Tech University with a bachelor of Science in Architecure. Since then, she’s lived and worked in many cities around the country as a licensed commercial Interior Designer. After settling down in Chicago 14+ years ago, she discovered there weren’t many options for non-gender urban subject artwork for children, so she painted her own and went into business for herself, City Nursery.
Each painting is individually arranged, drafted, and hand painted to capture the detail and spirit of the unique city portrayed. Her hope is to capture the built landscape throughout the world with these little joyful works of art.
